MMR is built to match you with other players of similar skill-to give you a challenge but still a fair shot at winning a match. You won’t be able to see your teammates' or opponents’ MMR during a Ranked match, but you’ll still be able to view your own. Because the system works to regularly calculate skill adjustments and match you as fairly as possible, you may notice a small increase in queue times. Your MMR will rise when you’re doing well in placements, and Kills will also boost this growth. Your rating will adjust according to your performance as you play matches, making matchmaking competitive, fair, and accurate. Matchmaking is based on a hidden Matchmaking Rating (MMR). At the start of each Season, your rank resets. During Ranked Seasons, you can also earn rewards based on your rank. Over time, you can rank up and play in higher tiers.
